Item Enchant

Category: General-info

Item Enchant System

The item enchant system has been reworked - it is now impossible to completely break an item.
All items now have one grade and one type of enchant scrolls for all items.
It doesn’t matter whether you enchant a Doom Set or a Draconic Set - you will need same scrolls.

  • Blessed Enchant Scroll: On failure, the enchant level will no longer reset to 0. Instead, it will decrease by -1.

  • Regular Enchant Scroll: On failure, the item will not be destroyed but will become locked. A locked item cannot be traded, enchanted, or upgraded, but it can still be used in PvP and PvE.

When an enchant fails, the item receives a lock  To remove the lock and continue enchanting the item, you can use the Unlock Equipment service at NPC Astarte.

Equipment Unlock System

To unlock equipment, you must equip the item and then select Unlock Equipment at NPC Astarte.

Daily Unlock Limits

Unlocks are limited per equipment slot, not per individual item.

For example:
If you have two Majestic Gloves (Heavy and Light) and you use two unlock attempts on the Light Gloves, the daily unlock limit for the Gloves slot will be exhausted. You will not be able to unlock the Heavy Gloves until the next reset.

Daily limits:

  • Weapons — 1 unlock per day

  • Armor and Jewelry — 2 unlocks per day

Unlock Cost

Unlocking can be done using PvE Tokens + Adena or a Seal Breaker.

Items enchanted up to +10:

  • First unlock — PvE Tokens only

  • Second unlock — x10 PvE Tokens (based on the cost of the first unlock) + fixed 20,000,000 Adena

Items enchanted above +10:

  • First unlock — PvE Tokens + 20,000,000 Adena

  • Second unlock — x10 PvE Tokens (based on the cost of the first unlock) + fixed 200,000,000 Adena

Here is an example of unlocking a +9 Dark Crystal Robe. This is the second (final) unlock for the slot, so it cost x10 PvE Tokens and 20,000,000 Adena.

After removing the lock from an item, you can continue enchanting it. However, you still cannot trade, sell, drop it until 06:30 AM next day.
You can see the timer at the bottom of the item’s description.

Safe (Non-Burnable) Enchant Levels

In Skadi, each item has “safe” enchant lvl. When enchanting with a Blessed Enchant Scroll, the item will lose -1 enchant level on failure, but it cannot drop below its safe minimum.
